Smartlet | Renting made simple
About This Project
Smartlet is a modern rental platform designed to help users easily browse properties, compare options, and manage rental activities digitally. I led the entire design process for this project, working from the ground up to build a complete digital platform. This included designing the website, the admin management system, and the full responsive experience across devices.
I collaborated closely with the client from the early idea stage, translating business requirements into clear user flows and polished visual designs. I also worked alongside a junior designer, guiding the design direction, reviewing work, and ensuring consistency throughout the project.
Problem
When the project began, Smartlet had no design foundation or platform structure. The business needed a user-friendly digital solution that allowed customers to explore rentals smoothly while giving the admin team powerful tools to manage listings, users, locations, and transactions.
There were two key challenges:
Defining a full system from scratch homepage, listings, detail pages, filters, account flows, dashboards, and more.
Creating a clean, modern interface that felt trustworthy for new users and functional for admins managing large volumes of data.
Solutions
Led the full UI/UX direction, from concept to final deliverables, ensuring every design decision aligned with business goals.
Designed the complete Smartlet website, including homepage, listing pages, property details, search filters, user dashboards, and booking flows.
Created a structured, intuitive Admin Panel enabling the team to manage properties, landlords, tenants, payments, and support tickets.
Ensured full responsive design, optimizing layouts for mobile and tablet to give users a seamless experience on all devices.
Mentored and coordinated with a junior designer, providing guidance, feedback, and design alignment throughout the project.
Collaborated directly with the client, presenting design stages and refining flows based on real business needs.
Established a consistent visual system typography, spacing, buttons, cards, color usage — ensuring the platform felt modern and organized.
